Free Tool Bazaar ("we", "us", "our") operates freetoolbazaar.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

1. Files you process — the short answer

Most of our tools run entirely inside your browser. When you compress a PDF, edit a photo, convert a file or scan a QR code, the file is processed on your own device using JavaScript. It is never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by us. A small number of tools (for example video downloading or website checks) need to contact a server — those requests are used only to deliver that result and are not stored as files.

2. Information we collect

• Account data (optional): if you register, we store your name, email and an encrypted password. Social login (Google) gives us your name, email and avatar URL.
• Usage data: tool usage counts, page views, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type — collected via server logs and analytics.
• Contact messages: if you write to us through the contact form we store your name, email and message so we can reply.
• Cookies: session cookies required for login and security, plus analytics and advertising cookies described below.

3. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, time on site, device types). We display ads through Google AdSense; Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com.

4. What we never do

• We do not read, copy or keep the files you process in browser-side tools.
• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
• We do not send marketing emails — only transactional messages you request (e.g., password reset).

5. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account exists; you may ask us to delete it at any time. Server logs rotate automatically and are typically retained for 30–90 days. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and browser-side processing keeps your documents on your device by design. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we follow reasonable industry practices to protect the data we do hold.

7. Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Residents of the EEA/UK and certain other regions have additional rights under GDPR and equivalent laws.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
